Cancellation Policy
Last updated: August 8, 2026
This Cancellation Policy applies to paid Orion Chime subscriptions and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. How to Cancel
- Sign in to the Orion Chime account that owns the subscription.
- Open Account and select Manage Billing.
- Use the Stripe-hosted billing portal to cancel and review the effective date.
If you cannot access the billing portal, contact support@orionchime.com. Include the account email but do not send a password, verification code, or full card number.
2. Effective Date and Access
Unless the Stripe portal displays a different effective date, cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid billing period. You generally retain paid access until that date. After the subscription ends, the account returns to the limits and features available on the free plan.
3. Charges and Refunds
Cancel before the renewal shown in the billing portal to prevent the next recurring charge. Cancellation does not automatically refund an already-started billing period. See our Refund Policy and any rights that apply where you live.
4. Account Closure Is Separate
Signing out, disabling alerts, uninstalling a shortcut, or requesting account closure does not by itself cancel a Stripe subscription. Cancel the subscription in Manage Billing first, or ask support to help if you cannot do so.
5. Failed Payments
A failed or overdue payment is not a cancellation request. Paid features may be limited while a payment is unresolved, and Stripe may retry the payment according to the billing configuration.
6. Contact
For cancellation help, email support@orionchime.com or use our contact page.
